David Soar B.Agr Sc Valuation

David grew up on the family farm in the King Country and later gained a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree, majoring in Valuation & Farm Management at Massey University. This was followed by 15 years in the banking industry where David specialised in farm finance in the King Country and Waikato regions. During this time David also achieved status as a Registered Valuer.
David also spent 5 years overseas based in London



David and his partner Heather live near Lake Karapiro on a lifestyle block with their young family.

David enjoys being part of the vibrant local community & is a proud supporter of our local rural schools. . David’s current sporting focus is Masters Rowing, with other interests including farm forestry and multisport events; having completed the South Island Coast to Coast on 2 occasions.



David believes that his competitive nature, attention to detail, right-first-time approach and passion for success along with a commitment to his clients to provide the best possible service, will ensure the optimum chance of achieving the results his clients require. David’s sales to date total over $25 million & is in the top 5% of Harcourts New Zealand (1700 agents nationally).   

David’s Personal Assistant/PR & Marketing Coordinator, Tracy Marshall joined him in July 2006 bringing  with her 10 years experience as a PA at executive level. More recently David’s  team has expanded with the addition of Bevan Higgins, Rural Sales Consultant & well known figure in Cambridge.
